Ride with Vitus at the Hurricane MTB Festival

Mountain bike rider on a Vitus at Hurricane Cliffs.

Say it with us: Hurra-kin. Our demo crew is bringing the fleet to the mountain biking town of Hurricane, Utah for three days of demos, tasty food trucks, live music, skills clinics, good times, and lively group rides to the scenic footstep of Zion National Park (you can even check out the site where Red Bull Rampage is held)! That’s right, we’re going to the Hurricane Mountain Bike Festival on March 24, 25, 26 – and we’ll be bringing a full off-road demo fleet so you can test ride the Vitus mountain bike of your choice on Hurricane’s legendary trails.

Hurricane has a multitude of world-class singletrack to explore, so it may be difficult to decide which routes to ride. Here are our recommendations for shuttle-served trails paired with the bikes we’ll have on-hand.

Find your rhythm at warp speed as the sagebrush and cryptobiotic soil blurs in the periphery. The middle section of JEM encourages you to charge into every smooth corner – a dreamlike sensation on the eager Rapide.

Hurricane Rim is a worthy proving ground for the Mythique’s climbing traction, with plenty of rocky and technical sections to scope out and session. The scenery from high above the Virgin River is worth the pedal.

Goosebumps is a fast-paced roller coaster ride. Let the Escarpe’s playful and fun personality shine as you pump and flow through the expansive desert scenery.

Rough and chunky trails are the Sommet’s bread and butter. You may be surprised at the agility and maneuverability of this enduro rig as you work your way through Adventure Scout’s relentless rock rolls and technical rock moves.

The views are splendid, but don’t get distracted – this trail demands 100% of your attention. The exposure here will keep you on your toes. Ride here from the venue that’s the beauty of an e-bike and connect to Hurricane Rim trail or Goulds Wash for a killer descent. Heck, you could even do it twice.
